Day 01 : Delhi - Rishikesh
Upon arrive at Delhi, receive by our representative from railway station/airport and straight drive to Haridwar, Enroute halt for Lunch, arrive Haridwar check in at Hotel. Evening visit of Ghats and excursion Hardwar visiting Mansa Devi Temple and participation in Ganges puja Overnight Stay.

Day 02 : Rishikesh - Hanumanchatti
Rishikesh is one of the most popular pilgrim centres and gateway to the Himalayan Shrines of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. The Yoga Centres of Rishikesh have enhanced the significance of this place. From this point on, the great Ganges leaves behind her mountain home and enters the vast plains of Northern India
Morning drive to Hanumanchatti enroute visiting Tehri famous for world famous Tehri dam. Overnight hotel.

Day 03 : Hanumanchatti - Yamunotri - Jankichatti
Morning trek to Yamunotri (14 km) after visit of the holy Shrine trek down five km to Janki Chatti .
Overnight hotel.

Day 04 : Jankichatti - Uttarkashi

After breakfast, trek nine kms . Our vehicle will pick up and drive to Uttarkashi.
Uttarkashi is located in the northern part of Uttar Pradesh. Uttarkashi was originally a part of Tehri Garhwal. But soon after independence, when Tehri Garhwal Kingdom merged with India, it was made a district of the Kumaon division.

In 1960, it was made a border district with the district headquarters at Uttarkashi. The district is more important because of the two very significant Pilgrimage-centers viz. Gangotri and Yamunotri , the source of the two rivers, Ganga (Bhagirathi) and Yamuna.

Day 05 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
Morning drive to Gangotri. arrive Gangotri visit temple for Darhsn and Pooja
This sacred shrine, situated at an altitude of 3,200 mt is the source of the river Bhagirathi. It is surrounded by the mountain peaks of Shivling, Satopanth and Bhagirathi sisters. Accessible by a motorable road, it is one of the most pious Hindu pilgrimages
 afternnon drive back to Uttarkashi for Night stay.

Day 06 : Uttarkashi - Rudraprayag
Morning drive to Rudraprayag. Overnight hotel.

Day 07 : Rudraprayag - Gaurikund - Trek to Kedarnath
Morning drive to Gaurikund afterwards trek to Kedarnath ( 14 kms ) thru the panoromic valley of Mandakini. The gushing sound of river and cascading waterfalls provides a romantic atmosphere for trekking.

Day 08 : Kedarnath - Guptkashi
After breakfast trek down to Gaurikund. Drive to Guptkashi.
The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlings of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. At an altitude of 3,581 mt it is a 14 km trek from Gaurikund.

Dedar is another name of Lord Shiva, the protector and the destroyer. Shiva is considered the embodiment of all passion-love, hatred, fear, death and mysticism which are expressed through his various forms

Day 09 : Guptkashi/Joshimath
Morning drive to Joshimath . Overnight hotel.

Day 10 : Joshimath - Badrinath
Badrinath Temple
Perched at an altitude of 3,133 mt. above sea-level, in the middle of a beautiful valley, it is located on the right bank of holy river Alaknanda. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple of Shri Badrinathji is 15 mt. in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire.

Legend dates the temple prior to the Vedic age, though the present temple is believed to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya, the 8th century A.D., Hindu reformist.

The temple has been renovated several times due to earlier damages by avalanches and looks modem now with a colourful "Singh Dwara" or the main entrance gate. The temple has three parts - Garbha Griha (the sanctum sanctorum), Darshan Mandap (for pujas) and Shobha Mandap (for devotees to assemble).
After breakfast drive to Badrinath. Overnight hotel.

Day 11 : Badrinath - Rishikesh

Morning drive to Rishikesh enroute Enroute halt for lunch. Overnight hotel.

Day 12 : Rishikesh - Delhi
After breakfast proceed to Delhi. In the evening Garhwal HImalayan Expedition representative will provide departure transfer to International airport/Railway station to back home.
