moving palace. There are four coupes in
each coach, with wall to wall carpeting,
a lounge car with a well stocked bar and
two restaurant cars providing exclusive
personalised service, to make your
journey truly enjoyable and comfortable.

delectable Indian, Continental and the
sumptuous Rajasthani cuisine will be
served to you making your journey an
unforgettable experience. The eight-day
long majestic journey begins on every
Wednesday from September to April every
year, chugging out gently out of Delhi
into the opulent Rajasthan.
Itineraries
Day1:
Get aboard the palace on wheels amidst a
traditionally ceremonial welcome,
accorded b y
colourfully attired men and women, at
the Delhi Cantonment Railway Station,
from where the journey begins.
Day2:
First stop is the Pink City of Jaipur.
At the entrance caparisoned elephants
and strains of the shehnai will greet
you, lunch will be at Rambagh Palace.
Discover Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh Fort,
Amber Fort, the silent sentinels of a
glorious bygone era.
Day3:
Images of love and valour of Maharana
Pratap, scars of battles lost and won,
that's Chittorgarh for you. Followed by
a bus trip to the city of Lake Palaces,
gardens, temples and Forts, Udaipur.
Lunch will be held at the Lake Palace
Hotel.
Day4:
Welcome to the forested place of Sawai
Madhopur and the beautiful 10th century
fort of Ranthambore, surrounded by the
Ranthambor National Park with a Project
Tiger Reserve in it.
Day5:
Jaisalmer, the fairy tale town of Thar
Desert is dominated by the sandstone
fort of 99 Bastions. There are
excellently carved havelis & Palaces and
experience the renowned camel safaris &
desert camps.
Day6:
Jodhpur is a15th century city surrounded
by a high stonewalls with seven gates
and countless bastions. Lunch will be
held at the Umaid Bhavan Palace.
Day7:
Bharatpur is a wonderland of birds
having the popular Bharatpur Bird
Sanctuary at Bharatpur, the home of 300
species of Siberian and Chinese
migratory birds. Then proceed towards a
trip to some of the most exquisite
monuments at Fatehpur Sikri and Agra,
especially the symbol of eternal love,
the Taj Mahal.
Day8:
After a good night?s sleep, wake up in
Delhi, with memories of the ethereal
journey, closeted in your heart!
Breakfast will be given on board and the
journey will end from where it began.
